Get started with MMiRNA-Tar correlation tool

1. Choose your input files

  • Input microRNA expression file (The file should contain expression data for microRNAs across samples in the tab-delimited format)

  • Input mRNA expression file (The file should contain expression data for mRNAs across samples in the tab-delimited format)

2. Enter your parameters

  • Total number of top pairs reported (e.g. 10):

  • Number of databases used to check against (e.g. 2):

  • E-mail address (Enter your email here, output files will be sent to your email address as well):

3. Get your output files

The program will generate 5 output files:

  • output.txt
All combination pairs of mRNA and microRNA along with their correlation values

  • sorted.output.txt
All combination pairs of mRNA and microRNA along with their correlation values in sorted order (from the highest negative to the highest positive)

  • sorted.10.output.txt
Top 10 pairs with the highest negative correlation values

  • sorted.10.table.expression.txt
Top 10 pairs with the highest negative correlation values and database prediction results. The expression values for both mRNA and microRNA across samples are also listed.

  • Plot_chart_y2Axis.xlsx
Top pairs plotted according to user selected number of prediction databases.
